Avior Airlines Plane Overruns Runway at Brazil’s Manaus International Airport

Avior Airlines flight 9V-1272 overran the end of the runway on landing at Manaus International Airport, Brazil, on November 28th.

The incident happened when the Boeing 737-200 plane was coming from Caracas, Venezuela.

The plane came to stop with all gear on soft ground.

No injuries were reported.

The Boeing 757-200, heading from Caracas, Venezuela to Miami, Florida, was mid-air when the crew needed to shut down its right hand engine, causing the plane to divert.

The plane landed safely.

All 198 passengers and crew members aboard remained unhurt.
