Air Peace flight 4P-7191 had to return and make an emergency landing at Port Harcourt International Airport, Port Harcourt, Rivers, Nigeria, on March 12.
The Boeing 737-500, heading from Port Harcourt to Lagos, Nigeria, had just climbed out of the runway when the crew received a smoke detector indication, prompting the crew to return.
The plane landed uneventfully.
It turned out that the smoke indication alarm was false.
All passengers on board remained unhurt.
