A Romanian military helicopter crashed in Malancrav, some 350 kilometers from Bucharest, Romania, on the morning of November 21.
The defense ministry officials said that the IAR-330 helicopter was on a training flight when it crashed.
Eight military officials were killed in the accident while 2 others were injured. Their identities have not yet been released.
The cause of crash is not clear at the moment.

Why: Eye witnesses say that the Pilatus was en route Friday night when it was struck by lightning. Forty minutes after the plane had sent out a distress call, emergency services found the wreck. Debris from the plane is scattered over a wide area.
Those on the plane included the pilot, aged 57, a woman passenger aged 20, and two men aged 36 and 51. All the remains have not been found and identified, although family members have been informed.
The accident is under investigation, and no specific cause has been released. Heavy rain was falling at the time of the crash, and there was low visibility. The four aboard the plane were from Switzerland. Late Friday, the Minister of Economy and Finance and managing director of the city of Montbéliard, Pierre Moscovici, expressed his “emotion” and “deep sympathy” towards victims.
Three people lost their lives after an on-duty Ukrainian military helicopter crashed in Kharkov Region of eastern Ukraine.
According to the Interior Ministry of the Ukraine, “On June 21, the regional Interior Ministry department unit received a report from the search and rescue emergencies center’s officer on duty stating that a Mil Mi-8T helicopter of the Ukrainian emergency situations state service with a crew of three people on board has disappeared from radar in the vicinity of the village of Vasishchevo of the Kharkov Region.”
The wreckage of the Mi-8 helicopter was later found on June 22 in a forest near the Chuguevsky district of Kharkov.
Authorities believe a violation or violations of air traffic rules to be the primary reason of the crash.

Why: In a field near Red Post Lane, a small plane crashed in a field and burst into flames, killing both occupants. The Weyhill Andover crash is said NOT to have been caused by ash but by some other reason.
The AAIB has sent investigators to the scene. The type of craft and the victims names have not been released.

Who: 6 victims including Muhsin Yazicioglu leader of nationalist Great Unity Party in Ankara, Turkey. injured passenger Ismail Gunes survived the crash, and called for help on his cell phone and a cameraman was injured; but by the time rescuers made it through the snow and fog, there were no survivors.
Why: Under Investigation but it is speculated that the cause of the crash was heavy fog. Recovery of the bodies was hampered by snow. Helicopter pieces were spread over an area of about 50-60 meters. One or more of the crash victims survived the crash but not the cold, nor the delay of the rescue teams, which were stalled by the weather.
A Piper Saratoga had to make an emergency landing on a beach in the Lake Mead National Recreation Area, Nevada, at around 5 a.m. on June 22.
The plane was en-route from North Las Vegas Airport, Nevada, to El Paso, Texas, when the its engine stopped working and the pilot decided to land in emergency. The plane landed between two portable bathrooms on the beach.
There were 4 people aboard the plane, including the pilot and 3 female passengers. Only two of them were treated for minor injuries.
The National Transportation Safety Board and the FAA are investigating.

Why: While en route, the jet airways airbus windshield cracked.
Pilots diverted to Mihail Kogalniceanu airport in Constanta, where they made a safe landing. No injuries were reported.
