Lufthansa flight LH-428 made an emergency landing in Munich, Germany, on April 22nd.The plane took off for Charlotte, North Carolina, but had to turn back after an electrical odor was noticed in the cabin.
The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained safe.

Why: On landing at Solo, the plane touched down with the left main gear afire.Passengers evacuated by way of emergency slides. There were no injuries reported.
The cause of the gear fire is under investigation although SilkAir says the smoke originated in overheated breaks and that there was no fire.
