Turkish Airlines flight TK-2408 had to return and make an emergency landing in Istanbul, Turkey, on November 28th.
The Airbus A321-200 plane took off for Antalya, Turkey, but had to turn back after the left engine ingested birds.
The plane landed back safely. All 176 people aboard remained unharmed.
The airline arranged a replacement plane for the passengers.
World Atlantic Airways flight RPN-807 suffered a gear collapse after landing at Alexandria International Airport, Louisiana, on April 20th.
The incident happened when the plane was coming from Chicago, Illinois.
The plane became disabled on the runway. All one hundred and one people aboard remained unharmed.
The plane was operating on behalf of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Why: On landing, after normal communication had been established, attempts to reach the crew to confirm were not answered. Nevertheless, the plane landed safely.
This is a disruption of procedure; if landing clearance is not received, the pilot is supposed pull up, abort the landing and make another pass. We have not heard if there was some kind of cockpit emergency that would make extenuating circumstances, but it is not likely, as the crew apparently contacted ATC after landing, confirming they had landed without clearance.
Lufthansa flight LH-1410 made an emergency landing in Belgrade, Serbia, on July 22nd.
The Airbus A320-200 plane flying from Frankfurt, Germany, was on final approach to Belgrade when the crew went around due to unsafe gear.
The plane subsequently landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.
Allegiant Air flight 514 had to return and make an emergency landing at McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas, Nevada, on August 1.
The Boeing 757, heading to Fresno, California, had to be turned back after the pilot reported possible left engine fire.
The plane landed safely and no one was hurt.
The FAA has confirmed that it is moving the routine audit of Allegiant Air from 2018 to 2016.
According to a statement, “The FAA is conducting a routine National Certificate Holder Evaluation of Allegiant Air. We do these on each U.S.-certificated airline every five years. We moved up the date for Allegiant’s evaluation from 2018 to 2016 to ensure that work the carrier is doing to address various internal issues has resulted in the desired improvements. We expect to have the evaluation done by late June.”
The evaluation schedule was moved due to a series of recent incidents. Recently, at least two Allegiant flights made emergency landings due to shortage of fuel. Furthermore, last week an Allegiant plane made an emergency landing in Phoenix due to engine failure.
A Regional Express Airlines plane made an emergency landing at Sydney Airport in New South Wales, Australia, on March 17th.
The Saab 340B plane flying from Albury, New South Wales, Australia, was on approach to Sydney when a propeller fell off.
The plane landed safely. All 16 passengers and 3 crew members remained unharmed.
The incident is being investigated.
