The Airbus A320-200 plane heading from Zurich, Switzerland, to Nis, Serbia, was diverted due to a hydraulic failure.
The plane landed uneventfully. All one hundred and seventy-three people aboard remained unharmed.

Why: After there was smoke in the cabin, the crew decided to land because there was smoke in the cockpit. The cause of the smoke was due to an electrical short circuit.
The pilots made an emergency landing at Krasnodar International Airport. There were no injuries.
This being the second autopilot fault, the situation is being investigated. A prior incident involving an on board system shutoff has been possibly attributed to communications interfering with aircraft onboard systems.
The ADIRU (air data inertial reference unit) is the flight computer system component about which the crew received an error message during the Dec 27 incident.
