    Wizz Air Plane Diverts to Budapest Due to Hydraulic Issue

    WizzAirWizz Air flight W6-7868 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Budapest, Hungary, on April 27th.

    The plane, en-route from Beauvais–Tillé Airport, France, to Debrecen, Hungary, was diverted after the crew reported a hydraulic problem.

    The plane landed safely. All the passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

    The airline arranged a replacement plane for the passengers.

    NTSB Reports Uncertified Pilot in December Crash

    According to the NtSB Preliminary report of the Beech crash on December 18, 2012, about 0002 mountain standard time (MST), a Beech B100, N499SW, collided with trees at Libby, Montana. Stinger Welding was operating the airplane under the provisions of 14 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 91. The noncertificated pilot and one passenger sustained fatal injuries; the airplane sustained substantial damage from impact forces. The cross-country personal flight departed Coolidge, Arizona, about 2025 MST on December 17th, with Libby as the planned destination. Visual meteorological conditions prevailed at the nearest official reporting station of Sandpoint, Idaho, 264 degrees at 46 miles, and an instrument flight rules (IFR) flight plan had been filed.

    AA Flight 1225 Makes Emergency Landing at Abilene

    American AirlinesThe American Airline MD-82 jet experienced a pressurization problem and made an emergency landing at Abilene Regional Airport, Texas, on April 15 at 4:15 pm.

    The flight was bound for Dallas, Fort Worth International Airport but it landed just 160 miles short of its final destination. The Jet took off with 133 passengers and five crew members from Cabo San Lucas, Mexico early afternoon.

    The Engineers were investigating the possible causes of low pressure.

    What: Swiss International Airlines Airbus A321 en route from Zurich to London
    Where: Zurich
    When: Oct 31st 2010
    Who: 194 passengers
    Why: After takeoff, the plane suffered a bird strike.

    The pilot returned to Zurich where they made a safe landing. The plane was taken out of service to be inspected for damage, and passengers were provided alternative transportation. No description of the amount of damage or the unfortunate bird has been provided.

    Blue Air Plane Returns to Romania after Abnormal Landing Gear Indication

    blue airBlue Air flight 0B-9361 returned and made a safe emergency landing at Bucharest Henri Coanda International Airport, Otopeni, Romania, on July 2nd.

    The Boeing 737-800, en-route to Antalya, Turkey, was climbing out of Bucharest when the crew reported an abnormal landing gear indication, prompting the plane to return.

    The plane landed safely. All people onboard remained unharmed.

    The passengers were accommodated in a replacement plane.

    Delta Airlines Plane Encounters Turbulence Near LaGuardia Airport

    Delta Airlines flight DL-2056 encountered turbulence near LaGuardia Airport, New York, on February 24th.

    The Airbus A319-100 plane flying from New Orleans, Louisiana, was on final approach to LaGuardia Airport, when it hit turbulence, prompting the crew to go around.

    The plane subsequently landed safely.

    Four passengers were injured in the incident.
