    Germania Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Faro

    Germania flight ST-4911 had to return and make an emergency landing in Faro, Portugal, on June 26th.

    The Airbus A319-100 plane took off for Berlin, Germany, but had to turn back after heavy smoke was noticed in the cabin.

    KLMKLM flight KL-1705 had to return after taking off from Amsterdam, Netherlands, on September 21st.

    The Boeing 737-800 plane was heading to Madrid, Spain, when the crew reported a stuck altimeter and decided to turn back.

    The plane landed uneventfully. Everyone aboard remained safe.

    The airline arranged a replacement plane for the passengers.

    AirBaltic Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Germany

    AirBaltic flight BT-222 had to return and make an emergency landing in Munich, Germany, on January 18th.

    The plane took off for Riga, Latvia, but had to turn back due to indication of an open door.

    Alaska Airlines Plane Continues for Safe Landing in Hawaii after Phone Emits Fire

    AlaskaAlaska Airlines flight AS-807 continued for a safe landing at Honolulu International Airport, Honolulu, Hawaii, on March 19.

    The Boeing 737-800, en-route from Bellingham, Washington to Hawaii, was mid-air above Pacific Ocean when a passenger’s iPhone emitted flame which turned into fire on the cabin floor.

    The plane landed safely after 90 minutes.

    All passengers aboard remained unharmed.

    The incident is under investigation.

    Nok Air Flight Diverts to Chumphon due to Windshield Crack

    NOK AIrNok Air flight DD-7313 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Chumphon, Thailand, on June 17th.

    The plane, flying from Ranong to Bangkok, Thailand, was diverted after its windshield cracked due to a bird strike.

    The plane landed uneventfully. There were 62 passengers and 4 crew members aboard at the time; all of them remained safe.
