Qantas flight QF2 had to divert and make an unscheduled landing at Perth International airport, Western Australia, on August 31.
According to the airline, “While travelling to Sydney from Dubai, the pilots received an indication that there was a technical issue with the aircraft so they diverted to Perth to have the issue repaired by our engineering team before continuing on to Sydney…There was a technical issue with one of the fuel pumps. There was no emergency landing.”
The 484-seater A380 jet landed safely and everyone aboard remained unhurt.

Air New Zealand flight NZ-103 had to return and make an emergency landing at Auckland Airport, New Zealand, on July 16th.
Jetstar Pacific Airlines flight BL-105 made an emergency landing in Chiang Mai, Thailand, on October 2nd.
