Pakistan International Airlines flight PK-798 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Manchester, United Kingdom, on November 19th.
The Boeing 777-200 plane flying from Toronto, Canada to Lahore, Pakistan, was diverted after the toilets got choked.
The plane landed safely.
Air France flight AF-7498 over-ran the runway at Biarritz Pays Basque Airport, Biarritz, France, on September 23rd.
The Airbus A320-200 flying from Paris Orly, France, went off the runway and had to be disabled.
The plane sustained minor damage.
No one was injured, however, the passengers had to remain inside the plane for at least an hour.

Why: While over Bucharest, the plane indicated smoke in 2 cargo holds. On making an emergency landing in Bucharest, no smoke or fire was located. Passengers disembarked and were provided hotel accommodations, and an alternative flight on the 29th.
The plane was grounded for inspections.
TAP Portugal flight TP-15 returned and made an emergency landing at Lisbon Portela Airport, Lisboa, Portugal, on October 29.
The Airbus A340-300, en-route to Recife, Brazil, had to return due to a cargo smoke indication.
The plane, with 274 people aboard, landed safely.

The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.
A small plane had to make an emergency landing in Flagler Beach, Florida, on August 20th.
