What: Kingfisher Airlines en route from Delhi to Bangkok

Why: The flight made an emergency landing at NSC after what is called a “technical snag.”
Passengers were provided another Kingfisher flight.
TAROM flight RO-606 had to return and make an emergency landing in Timisoara, Romania, on October 7th.
The plane took off for Henri Coanda International Airport, Romania, but had to return shortly afterwards due to a technical issue.
The plane landed back safely. All forty-one people aboard remained unharmed.

What: Delta Airlines Airbus A330-200, en route from Amsterdam to Mumbai
Where: Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport
When: Nov 4 2010
Who: 244 passengers
Why: There are two versions: a call alerted authorities, or a suspicious object was found on the flight. Whatever happened, in any case, the plane made an emergency landing. Passengers were evacuated and a bomb squad searched the plane. Passengers luggage was also searched.
PSA Airlines flight AA-5550 had to divert and make an emergency landing at McGhee Tyson Airport, Blount County, Tennessee, on May 8th.
The Canadair CRJ-200 flying on behalf of American Airlines was flying from Nashville, Tennessee, to Washington DC, when it had to divert due to indication of open door.
The plane landed safely.
All 47 passengers and 3 crew members remained safe.
An F-15 fighter jet had to make an emergency landing at Tulsa International Airport, Oklahoma, on April 14th.
The plane was one of the two returning from a training session at Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho, to Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, North Carolina. Authorities said the pilot decided to divert due to a “minor system malfunction.”
The plane landed uneventfully. No injuries were reported.
Arkia Israel Airlines flight IZ-826 diverted to Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv, Israel, for an emergency landing on September 27.

The plane, heading from Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, to Berlin, Germany, had to be diverted due to electronic problems.
The plane landed uneventfully. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.
