What: Lynx Aviation de Havilland Dash 8-400 (Frontier Airlines) flight en route from Fargo to Denver

Why: After a bird strike on take-off, the Frontier Airlines plane was cleared to return to the Fargo airport and repaired; but on the subsequent flight, the plane’s landing gear doors did not close after the gears were retracted on the initial climb, sending it back to maintenance.
Jetstar Airways Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Melbourne
Jetstar Airways flight JQ-772 had to return and make an emergency landing in Melbourne, Australia, on October 20th.
The Airbus A320-200 plane took off for Adelaide, Australia, but had to turn back after two flight attendants reported feeling unwell due to an odor in the cabin.
The plane landed safely. Both flight attendants were taken to a hospital.
Medical Helicopter Crashes in Oklahoma; No Casualties
A medical helicopter crashed outside Comanche County Medical Hospital in Lawton, Comanche County, Oklahoma, on the morning of September 29th.
According to sources, the helicopter was attempting to make emergency landing due to some issue, when it lost control and crashed.
All four people onboard including the pilot remained unhurt.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
United Airlines Plane Makes Emergency Landing in Costa Rica
United Airlines flight UA-1516 had to return and make an emergency landing in Liberia, Costa Rica, on April 24th.
The Boeing 737-800 plane took off for Houston, Texas, but had to return shortly afterwards due to a ‘maintenance issue’.
