Why: The Spice Jet flight took off, but immediately after lift-off, the flight developed a problem. The plane failed to gain height near Banihal and descended ‘dangerously.’ The on board crew returned successfully to the Srinager Airport and made a safe landing.
Passengers included state ministers, government officials, Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand, Minister of State for Home Nasir Aslam Wani.
Officials disembarked and took a later flight.
