A Robinson R22 helicopter made an emergency landing at a construction site in Ewa Beach, Hawaii, at around 12:45 p.m. on March 17.
According to helicopter’s owner George Hanzawa of George’s Aviation Services Inc., the aircraft was heading from Honolulu to Kalaeloa when the pilot heard a strange sound. He then decided to make an emergency landing as a precaution.
The helicopter was carrying 2 people at the time, including the pilot; both of them remained unharmed.
The aircraft was not damaged.
Jet Airways flight 9W-070 had to return and make an emergency landing at Yangon International Airport, Myanmar, on January 5.
The Boeing 737 plane took off from the Chhtrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai, India, and was heading to Bangkok, Thailand, when the pilots decided to return due to a technical snag.

Swiss International Air Lines flight LX-734 made an emergency landing in Amsterdam, Netherlands, on September 7th.
The Airbus A320-200 plane flying from Zurich, Switzerland, was on approach to Amsterdam when the crew reported a possible nose gear steering issue.
The plane performed a low approach and subsequently landed safely on second approach.
Everyone aboard remained unharmed.
The plane was towed off the runway.
American Airlines flight AA-782 made an emergency return to Tampa International Airport, Florida, USA, on November 25.
The Airbus A320-200 was en-route from Tampa to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, when the left hand engine was shut down due to over temperature, causing it to return.
The plane landed safely.
All 135 passengers aboard remained unhurt.

What: Spirit Airlines Airbus A319-100 en route from the Nicaraguan capital of Managua to Fort Lauderdale
Where: Owen Roberts International Airport, Grand Cayman
When: November 25, 2009
Who: 133 passengers
Why: While en route, a cockpit indicator signified smoke in the cockpit; the flight diverted to Owen Roberts International Airport, Grand Cayman where it landed safely.
On inspection, maintenance found neither smoke nor fire, and instead of rebooking the passengers, the flight continued on safely to its destination.
Aeropostal Airlines flight VH-150 made an emergency landing in Barquisimeto, Venezuela, on February 27th.
The plane flying from Caracas, Venezuela, was on approach to Barquisimeto when the crew received an engine fire indication.
The plane continued for a safe landing.
The passengers were evacuated via slides. No injuries were reported.
