Delta flight DL-307 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport, San Juan, Puerto Rico, on January 24.
The Boeing 757-200, flying from Saint Thomas, Virgin Islands, to Atlanta, Georgia, had to divert after one of its engines ingested a bird. The engine had to be shut down mid-air.
The plane landed safely.
No injuries were reported.
