Delta Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Knoxville

Delta Airlines flight DL-326 made an emergency landing in Knoxville, Tennessee, on January 7th.

The plane heading from Atlanta, Georgia, to Buffalo, New York, was diverted due to aircraft handling problems.

The plane landed uneventfully. All eighty-passengers and five crew members remained safe.

Small Plane Crashes in Georgia; 3 Dead, 1 Injured

A small plane crashed near Blairsville Airport, Georgia, on December 19th.

The plane was carrying four people when it went down. Three people were killed in the crash. They were identified as Robert Atkinson, 56, Renea Greiner, 55 and Michelle Seay, 50. The fourth person was injured and was taken to a hospital.

Skydiving Plane Crashes at East Georgia Regional Airport; 4 Killed, 1 Injured

A skydiving plane crashed at East Georgia Regional Airport in Swainsboro, Georgia, on August 25th.

The plane was carrying five people when it went down.

Four people were killed in the crash. They were identified as Staff Sergeant Aliaksandr “Alex” Bahrytsevich, 31, of Raeford, NC; Justin Duff, 42, of Statesboro, GA; Andrew Swenson, 23, of Daytona Beach, FL; and Chris Eldridge, 42, of Rincon, GA.

The fifth occupant of the plane, identified as William Middlebrooks, suffered injuries and was taken to a hospital.

The plane was owned by The Jumping Place Skydiving Center in Statesboro, Georgia.

Delta Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Nashville

Delta Airlines flight DL-2599 had to return and make an emergency landing in Nashville, Tennessee, on July 25th.

The plane took off for Atlanta, Georgia, but had to turn back due to an engine issue.

The plane landed safely. All one hundred and fifty-six people aboard remained unharmed.

The faulty engine dumped debris over the neighborhood.

Delta Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Atlanta

Delta Airlines flight DL-151 had to return to Atlanta, Georgia, on June 14th.

The Boeing 767-400 plane took off for Lima, Peru, but had to turn back due to an engine problem.

On approach to Atlanta, the crew also reported a flaps problem. The plane subsequently landed at higher than normal speed.

All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.
