Lufthansa flight LH-444 had to return and make an emergency landing in Frankfurt, Germany, on September 19th.
The Airbus A340-600 plane took off for Atlanta, Georgia, but had to turn back after several passengers began experiencing nausea and dizziness due to fumes on board.
The plane landed back safely.
Air France cargo plane, operating flight 6738, had to make an emergency landing at Halifax International Airport in Nova Scotia, Canada, on April 14.
The Boeing 777 plane, heading from Paris to Chicago, was forced to land in emergency after one of its two engines lost power.
The plane landed uneventfully at around 9:35 p.m.
There were 3 crew members aboard at the time; all of them remained safe.
The incident is being investigated.
A Guyana-bound flight of Travelspan, operated by Vision Air, had to return to JFK International Airport, New York for emergency landing on the morning of July 15.
Chief Operations Manager at Travelspan Guyana, David Goberdhan, confirmed that the plane had to return to JFK, just two and a half hours after leaving the airport, because of “compression” problems with one of its engines.
The plane, a 767-300, landed safely and everyone aboard remained unhurt.
The aircraft was taken for examination by the airline’s mechanical and technical teams. Another aircraft was deployed to take the passengers to Guyana.
Condor Airlines flight DE-2114 had to divert and make an emergency landing in St. Louis, Missouri, on March 15th.
The Boeing 767-300 plane heading from Frankfurt, Germany, to Cancun, Mexico, was diverted after the crew suspected a fuel leak.
The plane landed safely. All 182 passengers and 10 crew members remained unharmed.
Air Macau flight MX-882 had to return and make an emergency landing at Macau International Airport, Macau, on July 11th.
The Airbus A321-200, en-route to Bangkok, Thailand, had to return due to an unusual odour aboard.
The plane landed safely.
No one was injured.
Easyjet flight EZY6401 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Bournemouth Airport, England, on March 23.
The flight was en-route from Newcastle to Barcelona when a passenger fell sick midair. The crew then reported the medical emergency and diverted the plane to Bournemouth Airport.
The plane landed uneventfully.
An Easyjet spokesperson said, “The passenger was met by paramedics and the flight is now continuing to Barcelona… We apologise for any inconvenience experienced due to the diversion and resulting delay.”

Why: While on approach to Essex County Airport, the turboprop developed a nose gear problem. The plane made several passes so that ATC could see the landing gear.
Emergency crews were standing by.
The plane landed without the gear extended, minimal damage
and no human injury.
