    AA Plane Diverts to Heathrow Airport with Cracked Windshield

    American AirlinesAmerican Airlines flight 199 had to make an emergency landing at Heathrow Airport, London, England, on November 28.

    The Boeing 767-300, en-route from Milan–Malpensa Airport, Italy, to John F. Kennedy International Airport, New York, had to be diverted after its windshield shattered midair.

    The plane landed safely. There were 183 passengers and 12 crew members aboard at the time; all of them remained unhurt.

    The airline accommodated passengers in other flights.

    The incident is being investigated.

    Pobeda Airlines Plane Rejects Take Off due to Fire Indication

    PobedaPobeda Airlines flight DP-450 rejected take off from Tyumen, Russia, on June 17th.

    The plane was accelerating to take off for Vnukovo International Airport, Russia, when the crew received a fire indication. The pilot slowed down the aircraft and returned to the apron.

    United Airlines Plane Makes Emergency Landing in El Dorado

    united airwaysUnited Airlines flight 3579 had to make an emergency landing at South Arkansas Regional Airport in El Dorado, Arkansas, on March 7th.

    The plane, heading from George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston, Texas, to Indianapolis, Indiana, was diverted after smoke was noticed in the cabin.

    The plane landed uneventfully. All 66 passengers and 4 crew members remained safe.

    Yakutia Airlines Plane Rejects Takeoff After Tail Strike

    Yakutia Airlines flight R3-4441 had to reject takeoff from Neryungri, Russia, on December 11th.

    The Boeing 737-800 plane was accelerating to takeoff for Krasnoyarsk, Russia, when the crew rejected takeoff due to a tail strike.

    The plane safely returned to the apron. All one hundred and two passengers and six crew members remained unharmed.

    American Airlines Flight Diverts to Texas Due to Hydraulic Problem

    American EagleAmerican Airlines Flight AA-2437 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport in Texas, at 1:40 P.M. on July 7.

    The airbus A319-100 was en-route from Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport, Georgia, to Los Angeles, California, when the pilot declared emergency due to hydraulic issues.

    The plane landed safely.

    All 127 passengers and 5 crew members aboard remained unharmed and were accommodated in a replacement flight.

    JetBlue Flight Diverted to Norfolk due to Unknown Odor in the Cabin

    JetBlueJetBlue flight 1534 had to divert and make and emergency landing at Norfolk International Airport, Virginia, at around 4:30 p.m. on January 12.

    The Embraer aircraft, en-route from Tampa, Florida to Hartford, Connecticut, was diverted after the crew reported a strange odor in the cabin.

    The plane landed uneventfully. All 93 people aboard remained safe.

    Another aircraft was arranged which later took the passengers to Hartford.
