    Air Astana Flight Makes Emergency Landing due to Bleed Air Problem

    Air Astana flight KC-881 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Aktobe, Kazakhstan, on March 5th.

    The Airbus A320-200 plane flying from Almaty to Uralsk, Kazakhstan, was diverted after the crew reported a bleed air problem.

    The plane landed safely. There were 71 passengers and 6 crew members aboard at the time; all of them remained unharmed.

    Jet Blue Diverts to Ft. Lauderdale

    What: Jetblue Airbus A320-200 en route from Ponce Puerto Rico to Orlando,FL
    Where: Ft. Lauderdale
    When: Oct 28th 2011
    Who: 1 sick passenger
    Why: Because of a sick passenger suffering seizures aboard the flight, the pilot diverted to Fort Lauderdale. On approach to the airport, the crew found hydraulic issues, and descended with little rudder control (due to the hydraulic issues.)

    The flight made a safe landing.

    Medical services was awaiting the passenger, who was transported to the hospital, after the safe landing.

    Air France Paris-New York Flight Turns Back Due to Ice

    What: Air France Airbus A330-200 en route from Paris to New York
    Where: Paris
    When: Dec 25th 2011
    Who: 187 passengers and 12 crew
    Why: On takeoff from Paris, the crew detected problems.

    The engine anti-icing system indicated a problem, so the pilots returned to Paris two hours after leaving.

    An anti-ice system valve was apparently repaired. After two more hours, the flight took off for New York.

    Jet Blue Flight Hits Rough Patch

    What: Jetblue Airbus A320-200 from New York JFK,NY to Burlington,VT
    Where: Burlington
    When: Feb 19th 2011
    Who: 2 crew injured
    Why: On approach to Burlington, eight minutes prior to landing, the plane encountered turbulence which injured two members of the crew.

    Germania Plane Returns to Germany due to Loss of Cabin Pressure

    Germania flight ST-4212 had to return and make an emergency landing at Münster Osnabrück International Airport, Germany, on May 4th.

    The Airbus A319-100 flying to Palma, Spain, had to return due to loss of cabin pressure.

    The plane landed safely.

    All 129 passengers and 5 crew members remained safe.
