Swiss Avro Plane Rejects Takeoff in Switzerland due to Sparking Engine
Swiss Avro flight LX-2808 had to reject takeoff at Zurich Airport, Zurich, Switzerland, on March 10.
The Airbus RJ-100 was about to take off for Geneva, Switzerland, when the control tower reported sparks coming from the left hand engine, causing the plane to return to the apron.
All passengers were accommodated in a replacement plane.
