The plane landed back safely. Everyone aboard remained unharmed.
The airline said the flight returned to Heathrow Airport due to a technical issue.
United Airlines flight UA-30 made a safe emergency landing at Munich Airport, Germany, on June 15th.
The Boeing 767-300, flying from Newark, New Jersey, was mid-air when the crew noticed some hydraulic problem.
The plane landed uneventfully.

Turkish Airlines flight TK-392 had to divert for an emergency landing in Ankara, Turkey, on June 8th.
The Boeing 737-800 plane heading from Istanbul, Turkey, to Batumi, Georgia, was diverted due to a cracked windshield.
The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.
LOT Polish Airlines flight LO-3850 made an emergency landing in Warsaw, Poland, on August 26th.
The plane was flying from Wroclaw, Poland, when the crew noticed issues with the landing gear.
The crew subsequently performed alternate gear extension and landed safely in Warsaw.
Everyone aboard remained unharmed.
Vietnam Airlines flight VN-249 had to return and make an emergency landing at Noi Bai International Airport, Hanoi, Vietnam, on August 15.
The Boeing 777-200 en-route to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, had to return due to engine problem. The crew had to shut its engine down mid-air.
The plane landed safely.
All 229 people aboard remained unhurt.
