    Malaysia Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Chennai

    Malaysia Airlines flight MH-180 made an emergency landing in Chennai, India, on June 10th.

    The Boeing 737-800 plane was flying from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, when the crew reported loss of cabin pressure and initiated an emergency descent.

    The plane continued for a safe landing. All one hundred forty-one passengers and seven crew members remained unharmed.

    The Airbus A330-300, en-route to London, UK, had to return after its left side engine ingested a bird.

    Jetstar Plane Returns to Australia after Problem with landing Gear

    Jetstar flight JQ-506 had to return and make an emergency landing at Melbourne Airport, Australia, on May 5th.

    The Airbus A320-200 flying to Sydney, Australia, had to return due to a problem with one of its landing gear.

    The plane landed safely.

    No injuries were reported.

    Allegiant Jet Makes Emergency Landing in South Carolina

    AllegiantAllegiant airlines flight 683, en-route from Grand Rapids, Michigan, to Orlando, Florida, was forced to make an emergency landing at Greenville–Spartanburg International Airport, South Carolina on August 31.

    According to the airline officials, the McDonnell Douglas MD-80 aircraft, having 159 passengers on board, was diverted for emergency landing after it began to “experienced a cabin pressurization issue approximately two hours after take off.”

    The aircraft landed safely, although the passengers had to wear oxygen masks deployed overhead in the cabin.

    The airline provided hotel accommodation, refund for that leg of the trip, and a $200 voucher to all the passengers.

    The flight was rescheduled to depart from Greenville next morning.

    Two Injured after Small Plane Crashed in Robertson County

    A Cessna 210 crashed near the intersection of Jack Rabbit Lane and OSR East in Robertson County, Tennessee, on February 16.

    The plane was en-route from Arlington to College Station, Texas, when it lost engine power and went down on the Circle X Ranch.

    There were three people aboard at the time; two of them, including James Guinn, 54, and his wife Kay, sustained non life-threatening injuries while the third passenger, identified as Melinda Guinn, 76, of Arlington, remained uninjured.

    The FAA is investigating.

    American Airlines Plane Diverts to Kansas due to Disruptive Passenger

    American EagleAmerican Airlines flight 622 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport, Wichita, Kansas, on November 3.

    The plane, en-route from Phoenix, Arizona, to New York, had to divert due to a disruptive passenger. Jason Baroletti, 38, was threatening to kill passengers when he was refused beer.

    The plane landed safely.

    All 126 passengers and 6 crew members remained unhurt.
