What: Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-300 en route from Islip Long Island to Chicago
Where: Buffalo-Niagara International Airport

Who: 120 passengers
Why: While en route, the plane developed a cabin air pressurization problem. The pilot decided to divert to Buffalo, and made a safe landing. Passengers disembarked and boarded an alternative flight to Chicago.


Condor flight DE-2098 had to return and make an emergency landing in Frankfurt, Germany, on July 30th.
KLM flight KL-641 had to reject takeoff from Amsterdam, Netherlands, on November 25th.
