    Delta Airlines flight DL-298 had to make an emergency landing at Saipan International Airport on Saipan Island, Northern Mariana Islands, on January 16th.

    The Boeing 757-200 plane was flying from Narita International Airport, Japan, when the crew declared an emergency due to loss of cabin pressure.

    The plane, en-route from New York’s Laguardia Airport to Nashville, Tennessee, was diverted after a bird hit it, causing a crack in its windshield.

    The plane landed uneventfully. All 57 people aboard remained safe.

    Turkish Airlines Airbus Diverts to Dehli after Bomb Threat

    Turkish airlinesTurkish Airlines flight TK 0065 diverted and made an emergency landing at Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Dehli, India, on July 7.

    The Airbus 330 was heading towards Istanbul, Turkey, from Bangkok, Thailand, when it had to be diverted due to a bomb threat. According to reports, the crew had found a statement written with lipstick on toilet mirror saying, “Bomb in Cargo Hold.”

    The plane, carrying 148 people, landed uneventfully. Civil Aviation spokesperson R.N. Choubey confirmed no bomb was found in the plane.

    British Airways Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Frankfurt

    British Airways flight BA-73 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Frankfurt, Germany, on March 24th.

    The Boeing 787-900 plane heading from Heathrow Airport, England, to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, was diverted due reports of fumes on-board.

    The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

    United Airlines Plane Rejects Take-off due to Issue with Cockpit Window

    United Airlines flight UA-61 rejected take-off at Newark Liberty International Airport, New Jersey, on July 23rd.

    The Boeing 767-300 flying to Honolulu, Hawaii, had to reject taking-off due to some issue with a cockpit window.

    US Airways Flight Diverts to Greensville

    On January 30, 2013, a U.S. Airways Bombardier CRJ 200 was en route from Tallahassee, Fla. to Charlotte, NC with 19 passengers and three crew when a strong odor was smelled in the cabin.

    Pilots diverted to Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport where they made a safe landing.

    A bus was provided for passengers to complete the trip.
