    The Airbus A321-200, en-route to Paphos, Cyprus, had to return due to a hydraulic problem. The plane entered a hold to burn off the fuel before landing.

    AA Flight Returns to Philadelphia International Airport

    American Airlines American Airlines flight 669 had to return and make an emergency landing at Philadelphia International Airport, Pennsylvania, on August 7.

    The plane took off for Seattle-Tacoma International Airport but had to return shortly afterwards after fire was observed in its left engine.

    The plane landed uneventfully and all 142 people aboard remained unhurt.

    According to airline spokesperson Josh Freed, the engine burned-off some residual fuel during take off but remained operational the whole time.

    Cathay Pacific Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Dublin

    Cathay Pacific flight CX-301 made an emergency landing in Dublin, Ireland, on July 28th.

    The Airbus A350-900 plane flying from Hong Kong, China, was descending toward Dublin when the crew reported a nose wheel steering issue.

    The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.
