    What: Wizzair Airbus A320-200 en route from Bucharest Romania to Milan Italy
    Where: Bucharest
    When: Nov 30th 2011
    Who: 157 passengers
    Why: We haven’t heard about falling parts in a while.

    The airbus was en route over Bucharest when an engine access panel fell off.

    Oops.

    The pilots returned to the airport within twenty minutes. I wonder where the access panel ended up. Who forgot to fasten it? Inquiring minds want to know these things. There’s more to this story than what we’ve seen.

    Flat tire on Landing in Paris

    What: AirAsia X Airbus A340-300 en route from Kuala Lumpur to Paris France
    Where: Paris
    When: Mar 1st 2012
    Why: On landing in Paris, a main gear tire burst.

    Passengers for the return flight were provided overnight accommodations as a couple of tires and other parts were replaced.

    American Airlines Flight Makes Safe Landing After Nose Gear Door Separated

    American Airlines flight AA-5560 made a safe landing at Harrisburg International Airport, Pennsylvania, on June 27th, after a nose gear door separated from the aircraft.

    The incident happened when the plane flying from Charlotte, North Carolina, was on final approach to Harrisburg International Airport.

    Everyone aboard remained unharmed.

    The flight was being operated by PSA Airlines.

    2 Killed After Small Plane Crashed in Punjab, Pakistan

    A two-seater trainer plane crashed in Punjab, Pakistan, on February 24th.

    The plane, belonging to Shaheen Air, went down shortly after taking off from a flight training school in Faisalabad, Punjab.

    There were 2 people aboard at the time, including the instructor and trainee pilot. Both of them were killed in the crash.

    The accident is being investigated.

    Brussels Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing due to Smoke and Burning Odor

    Brussels Airlines flight SN-241 had to divert and make an emergency landing at EuroAirport Basel Mulhouse Freiburg, France, on January 2nd.

    The Airbus A330-300 plane heading from Monrovia, Liberia, to Brussels, Belgium, was diverted after the crew noticed smoke and a burning odor aboard.

    The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained safe.

    Aeromexico Plane Suffers Radome Damage on Approach to Tijuana

    An Aeromexico plane suffered a radome damage on approach to Tijuana, Mexico, on December 12th.

    The incident happened when the Boeing 737-800 plane was performing flight AM-770 from Guadalajara, Mexico.

    The plane continued for a safe landing.

    It is believed that the damage was caused by a drone strike.
