Why: Pressurization. After observing problems with pressurization, the crew burned off ten minutes worth of fuel and landed on runway 21R. The problem turned out to be in the air conditioning. Easyjet’s press release terms this not an emergency but “merely a precautionary technical diversion.”

An AirAsia Zest flight had to return and make an emergency landing in Manila, Philippines, at 8:38 p.m. on August 9.The incident happened after the plane’s engine number 2 encountered “engine bleed” while cruising over Guangzhou, China. American Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Canada
American Airlines flight AA-718 made an emergency landing in Gander, Canada, on June 30th.The Airbus A330-300 plane flying from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Rome Fiumicino Airport, Italy, was diverted after it hit turbulence that injured a flight attendant.
The plane landed safely.
Airbus Emergency Landing
On August 29, 2013, an Airbus A321 en route from Antalya to Moscow. made an emergency landing at Domodedovo Airport with a problem with its left main gear.
There were seven crew members, 219 passengers including 12 children. No injuries were reported.

Lufthansa Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Munich
Lufthansa flight LH-1683 made an emergency landing in Munich, Germany, on October 27th.The Airbus A321-100 plane flying from Budapest, Hungary, was descending toward Munich when the crew declared an emergency due to an electrical odor on-board.
The plane continued for a safe landing. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

Why: While en route, the left engine stalled. The crew shut down the engine and diverted to Seattle where they made a safe landing at Sea-Tac.A replacement Airbus was provided.
