What: Alaskan Airlines Boeing 737 en route from Seattle to Las Vegas

Why: While the flight was en route, smoke “unidentified fumes in the plane “developed in the cabin. Pilots diverted to Sacramento where they made a safe landing at 4:42 pm. with emergency services on standby.
There were no injuries although there was a report of a crew member getting oxygen.
Passengers said the problem appeared to be electrical, and that a stewardess had “burning in her eyes and throat.”
Passengers disembarked and were provided an alternative flight. The affected plane is slated for a Tuesday return to Seattle.
