A Wizz Air plane made an emergency landing in Sofia, Bulgaria, on February 25th.
The plane was coming from Budapest, Hungary, when the crew suspected a damaged tire,
The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

ABX Air Flight Returns to Cincinnati due to Cabin Pressure Problem
ABX Air flight GB-2015 made an emergency landing in Cincinnati, Ohio, on December 3rd.
The Boeing 767-200 plane took off for Salt Lake City, Utah, but had to turn back due to issues with the cabin pressure.
The plane landed safely. Everyone aboard remained unharmed.
Turkish Airlines Plane Made Emergency Landing at Istanbul
A Turkish Airlines chartered plane, which took off from Sabiha Gokcen Airport on the Asian side of Istanbul for Milan in Italy, made an emergency landing at the Ataturk Airport, Istanbul at noon on August 5.
According to the airport officials, the aircraft with 96 passengers aboard developed some technical fault immediately after taking off.
The officials further added that the passengers will be provided with another THY flight to resume their journey to Milan.

Jet2 Flight Diverts to Portugal due to Medical Emergency
Jet2 flight LS-1202 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Faro, Portugal, on February 17th.
The Boeing 737-800 plane heading from Lanzarote, Spain, to Birmingham, England, was diverted after the first officer became unwell.
The plane landed safely.

What: Egypt Air Airbus A321-200 en route from Aleppo to Cairo
Where: Aleppo
When: May 6th 2012
Who: 130 passengers
Why: While taking off from Aleppo, the plane had a tail strike, impacting the runway. The pilots diverted to Larnaca where they made a safe landing. No reports were made of personal injury but the plane was damaged. A replacement flight was sent to carry the passengers to Cairo.

I cannot help but wonder why pilots decided to climb to 31000 feet and continue to Lanarca instead of returning to Aleppo. Wouldn’t potential damage from a tail strike possibly affect cabin pressure and put the flight at risk? Wouldn’t standard procedure be to do a fly-by for a visual assessment, and a return to the airport? Or is there an Egypt Air or Airbus repair facility at Lanarca? It just seems like it was a risky choice.
