United Airlines flight US-4949 made an emergency landing at Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport, South Carolina, on January 28th.
The plane took off for Newark, New Jersey, but had to turn back after a smoke indicator went off.
The plane landed safely. All forty passengers aboard remained unharmed.


Qantas freight flight QF-7335 made an emergency landing in Canberra, Australia, on August 15th.

Virgin Australia flight VA-1351 had to return and make an emergency landing in Sydney, Australia, on May 19th.
