Turkish Airlines flight TK2 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Halifax Stanfield International Airport in Canada, on November 21.
Authorities said the plane, flying from John F Kennedy International Airport, New York, was diverted due to a bomb threat.
The plane landed uneventfully. There were 256 passengers and crew members aboard at the time; none of them were harmed.
No explosive material was found in the plane.



United Airlines flight UA-2116 had to return and make an emergency landing at O’Hare International Airport in Chicago, Illinois, on February 23rd.
Norwegian Air Shuttle flight DY-7064 had to return and make an emergency landing at Oakland International Airport, Alameda County, California, on July 22nd.
