The plane took off for Melbourne, Australia, but had to turn back after an incident onboard prompted security concerns.
The plane landed back safely. Everyone aboard remained unharmed.
Details about the nature of threat are not known at the moment.
Condor flight DE-2402 had to return and make an emergency landing at Frankfurt Airport, Germany, on September 12th.
The Boeing 767-300 en-route to Toronto, Canada, had to return due to hydraulic failure.
The plane landed uneventfully.

Why: The flight was en route over Holland when one of the planes engines developed engine failure. The pilot shut down engine two and diverted to Frankfort, where they made a safe landing. Emergency services were on standby when the plane landed.
Passengers were provided accommodations and flew out the next day, although there was no Thomas Cook affiliate there, and they were not kept informed of their situation.
Cathay Pacific flight CX-170 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Bali, Indonesia, on September 25.
The Airbus A330-300, flying from Perth, Australia, to Hong Kong, China, diverted after its right engine started emitting flames and sparks, causing vibration. The crew decided to shut the engine down for a safe landing.
The plane landed uneventfully.

What: Allegiant Air McDonnell Douglas MD-87 en route from Wichita to Bulkhead City, AZ.

Who: 125 passengers and five crew members (also reported as 126p./6c)
Why: Taking off after a refueling stop, the left MD-80 engine made an explosive noise, and shot flames. The flight returned to Mid-Continent airport for a safe landing.
When the airport fire department met the plane, they saw flames erupting from the left engine, and they foamed it to put it out.
Passengers debarked by stairs and some by slide. One individual suffered a minor injury. Passengers were provided hotel accommodations until the flight replacement on Thursday, although another source said they were on the road again within 6 hours.
Good ol’ MD 80
A Marine Apache helicopter had to make an emergency landing on the east side of Los Angeles River bed in South Gate, California, on May 11.
Two pilots aboard the Camp Pendleton-based aircraft decided to make an emergency landing after they discovered some electrical issues.
The helicopter landed uneventfully and no one was injured.
