    Spirit Airlines Plane Diverts to Texas after Lost Cabin Pressure

    spiritSpirit Airlines flight NK-875 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport, Lubbock, Texas, on June 23rd.

    The Airbus A319-100, en-route from Texas to Oregon, had to divert due to loss of cabin pressure.

    The plane landed safely.

    No one was injured.

    What: Spanair Airbus A321-200 en route from Palma to Brest to Deuville.
    Where: Brest
    When: Apr 28th 2010
    Who: 157 passengers
    Why: On approach, the flight developed a technical problem with the landing gear. The problem delayed landing by half an hour, but eventually the plane did land safely, although it did have to be towed to the gate. An alternative jet was flown in eight hours later for the final leg of the flight.

    Air Canada Plane Makes Emergency Landing at Heathrow Airport

    Air CanadaAir Canada flight AC-84 made an emergency landing at Heathrow Airport in London, United Kingdom, on August 8th.

    The Boeing 787-900 plane was flying from Toronto, Canada, to Tel Aviv, Israel, when the crew decided to divert due to a fault in its oxygen system.

    The plane landed safely. All 252 people aboard remained unharmed.
