What: Skywest Airlines CRJ200 en route from Omaha, Nebraska

Who: 36 passengers, 3 crew
Why: While en route, the landing gear malfunctioned.
The crew notified Milwaukee ATC of the malfunction ten minutes prior to landing; and subsequently made a safe landing on one gear (of three) at Mitchell International Airport. The airplane scraped its wing but the extent of damage is not known.
The passengers were all safely evacuated; and the airport remained closed for 45 minutes.
