Qantas flight QF-58 made an emergency landing in Cairns, Australia, on February 10th.
The plane heading from Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea, to Brisbane, Australia, was diverted after a burning odor was noticed on the flight deck.
The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.
Air Canada flight AC850 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Toronto, Canada, on the morning of December 29.
The Boeing 767 was diverted after the crew reported an electrical smell on board. The flight was heading from Calgary to London Heathrow Airport, England, at the time.
The plane landed uneventfully and all 201 passengers remained safe.
Passengers were later transported to London in another aircraft.

Icelandair flight FI-554 made an emergency landing in Brussels. Belgium, on March 10th.
The pilot of Boeing 757-200 plane, flying from Keflavik, Iceland, declared emergency due to a problem with the flaps.
The plane landed safely. Everyone aboard remained unhurt.
