Jet Airways flight 9W-2423 had to make an emergency landing at Khajuraho Airport in Madhya Pradesh, India, on April 13.
The airport authorities said the plane, operating on the Delhi-Varanasi-Khajuraho route, had to declare emergency due to a technical snag.
According to the airline, “The aircraft, a Boeing B737-800, experienced a technical problem with the landing gear. Safetychutes were deployed and all the 59 passengers and eight crew on-board the aircraft disembarked safely and were transferred to the terminal.”
The incident is being investigated.
