Qantas Flight Diverts to Jakarta due to Low Visibility
Qantas QF51 made an emergency landing at Soekarno-Hatta Airport in Jakarta, Indonesia, on September 29.
The plane, heading from Brisbane, Australia, to Singapore, was diverted after the pilot reported low visibility due to haze. General manager of Jakarta’s Air Traffic Service Centre, Bambang Rianto, said the pilot reported that visibility was below the safety threshold limit of 1400 meters.
The plane landed safely.
No one was hurt.

She was traveling alone and had no baggage.
The flight which made a safe landing in Maine.
The flight was interrupted for three hours when passengers were evacuated, and federal customs agents escorted the woman off the plane in handcuffs. The plane was examined and reboarded.
A passenger said the crew initially blamed the unexpected landing on fuel and weather issues.

What: American Eagle Embraer ERJ-135 en route from Denver CO to Los Angeles Where: Hayden When: July 19 2011 Who: 36 passengers and 3 crew Why: While en route, the crew detected an electrical odor. They reported the issue to ATC.
The flight made a safe landing at Yampa Valley Airport. Maintenance is examining the plane.
Passengers were provided bus transportation to Denver where they were provided alternative flights.
