Hawaiian Airlines flight HA-43 had to return and make an emergency landing at San Jose International Airport, California, on April 18th.The Boeing 767-300 heading to Honolulu, Hawaii, had to return due to a problem with one of its engines.
The plane landed safely.
All 252 passengers and 11 crew members remained safe.

Naval Helicopter Returns to Newquay Airport due to Engine Issue
A British International Helicopter (BIH) Dauphin helicopter had to return and make an emergency landing at Newquay Cornwall Airport, United Kingdom, on December 15.
Authorities said the Eurocopter AS 365N2 Dauphin, based in HMS Drake, Devonport, had to declare an emergency after it developed an engine issue.
According to an airport spokesperson, “We can confirm that an AS65 helicopter with two persons on board made a precautionary return to Cornwall Airport Newquay at approximately 0930 this morning having experienced an issue with one of its engines. The aircraft landed without problem.”

Aegean Airlines Flight Returns to Athens due to Gear Problem
Aegean Airlines flight A3-610 had to return and make an emergency landing in Athens, Greece, on October 2nd.The Airbus A321-200 plane took off for Charles de Gaulle Airport, France, but had to return shortly afterwards after the crew reported issues with the gear.
The plane landed safely. Everyone aboard remained unhurt.
The airline arranged a replacement plane for the passengers.

On December 26, 2012, an Atran-Aviatrans Antonov 12BP en route from Chelyabinsk to Vorkuta with eight crew aboard made an emergency landing in Chelyabinsk after an engine failed.
Pilots landed safely 15 minutes after take-off due to a malfunction of the fourth engine.
The plane is undergoing inspection. No injuries were reported and no damage to the plane during landing.
