Why: While on approach to Mumbai, the plane developed problems and an engine was shut down.
The Airbus landed safely in Mumbaiwith emergency services on standby. No injuries were reported. No details were provided regarding it the engine locked up, ran hot, leaked or what problem occurred.
What: Alitalia Airbus A320-200 en route from Rome to Genoa
Where: Rome
When: Feb 2nd 2011
Why: The flight returned to Rome because it was carrying the luggage of a passenger who was not aboard. The flight returned to Rome, the luggage was removed and the plane departed again an hour later.

What: Emirates Boeing 777-200 en route from Dubai to Houston
Where: Dubai
When: Aug 8th 2010
Why: The pilot taking off in the Emirates 777 rejected the high speed take-off, deflating nose gear tires. No injuries were reported.
A replacement jet was provided.
S7 Airlines flight S7-925 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Podgorica, Montenegro, on April 28th.
The Boeing 737-800 plane heading from Moscow, Russia, to Tivat, Montenegro, was diverted due to an issue with the flaps.
The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.
