Lufthansa Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Munich
Lufthansa flight LH-1742 made an emergency landing in Munich, Germany, on March 9th.The plane took off for Chisinau, Moldova, but damaged multiple tires during departure.
The crew subsequently returned for a safe landing.
The plane became disabled on the runway. All twenty-nine passengers and four crew members remained safe.

Delta Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Atlanta
Delta Airlines flight DL-151 had to return to Atlanta, Georgia, on June 14th.The Boeing 767-400 plane took off for Lima, Peru, but had to turn back due to an engine problem.
On approach to Atlanta, the crew also reported a flaps problem. The plane subsequently landed at higher than normal speed.

Air New Zealand Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Christchurch

Air New Zealand flight NZ-621 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Christchurch, New Zealand, on May 20th.
The Airbus A320-200 plane heading from Auckland to Queenstown, New Zealand, was diverted after it suffered a lightning strike.
The plane landed uneventfully. Everyone aboard remained safe.
