    Southwest Airlines Flight Diverts to Jacksonville After Loss of Cabin Pressure

    Southwest Airlines flight WN-3556 had to divert for an emergency landing in Jacksonville, Florida, on January 2nd.

    The Boeing 737-300 plane was flying from San Antonio, Texas, to Orlando, Florida, when it lost cabin pressure, prompting the crew to divert.

    The plane landed uneventfully. All 133 people aboard remained safe.

    Where: Dallas
    When: Apr 1st 2011
    Who: 170 passengers 12 crew
    Why: After taking off from Dallas/ft Worth, the crew returned to the airport because of a tail strike. They made a safe landing 30 minutes after takeoff. The flight was cancelled.

    Piper Crash in Texas Kills Three Salt Lake City Men


    On 12-JAN-2013, at 9:00 a Celtic Bank LLC Piper PA-46-500TP Malibu Meridian en route from Fox field in Paris Texas to Austin, but crashed minutes after takeoff, in Glory Texas.

    There was fog in the area at the time of the crash.

    The three people aboard the plane, pilot Rob Thompson, passenger Michael Endo who was Senior Vice-President of Celtic Bank and the bank’s commercial loan officer, and Michael Dale Bradley who was owner and Real Estate Broker with MBA Realty and who was consulting on a property sale.

    All three men were from Salt Lake City Utah.

    Cessna Makes Crash Landing on Texas Highway

    CessnaA single-engine Cessna plane made a crash landing on a ramp on northbound U.S. 287, north of Interstate 20, in Arlington, Texas, on the afternoon of June 27.

    The plane landed on the highway ramp’s barrier wall and then crashed into a black pickup truck. The incident happened shortly before 5 p.m. after the aircraft lost oil pressure.

    According to Jim Self, an Arlington assistant fire chief, the aircraft was towing an advertisement banner at the time of the accident. Self also confirmed that the pilot remained unhurt.

    However, a statement from Arlington police stated that the plane’s wing crashed into the windshield of the truck and one person in the truck sustained minor injuries.

    The FAA and NTSB are investigating the accident.

    Four Killed as Small Plane Crashes near Navasota Municipal Airport

    A small plane crashed near Navasota Municipal Airport, Texas, on February 28th.

    Authorities said the wreckage of the single-engine Cirrus SR-20 plane was found in a wooded area southeast of the airport.

    All four people aboard the plane, including two adults and two children, were killed in the crash.

    The plane was flying from David Wayne Hooks Airport in Houston at the time.

    The FAA and the NTSB are investigating.

    American Airlines Flight Diverts to San Antonio due to Engine Issue

    American Airlines flight AA-64 made an emergency landing in San Antonio, Texas, on December 21st.

    The Boeing 737-800 plane heading from Miami, Florida, to Phoenix, Arizona, was diverted due to an engine issue.

    The plane landed uneventfully. All passengers and crew members remained safe.
