Why: On approach to Saskatoon, the plane sent a nose wheel steering warning. The plane landed in Saskatoon incident-free, and inspected the plane without finding a cause or record of the warning. Subsequently, the systems were rebooted.
Austrian Airlines flight OS-509 made an emergency landing at Milan Malpensa Airport, Italy, on February 25th.
The Airbus A319-100 plane flying from Vienna, Austria, was descending toward Milan Malpensa Airport when the crew reported an unusual smell in the cabin.
The plane continued for a safe landing. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

What: Jetblue Airbus A320-200 en route from Newark to Fort Lauderdale

Why: During takeoff, the airbus lost the left engine cowling.
Distressed panicked passengers smelled smoke and said they could see inside the engine.
Less than a quarter of an hour later, it had landed back at the airport, where the fallen parts had to be gathered.
The NY Daily news reported that passengers were offered refunds and a free round trip.
Braathens Regional Airways flight TF-1054 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Stockholm Bromma Airport, Sweden, on January 17th.
