Utair flight UT-106 made an emergency landing in Tyumen, Russia, on June 22nd.
The plane flying from Yekaterinburg, Russia, was descending toward Tyumen when an engine fault caused smoke in the cabin.
The plane continued for a safe landing. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.
SpiceJet flight SG-2976 had to return and make an emergency landing in Ahmedabad, India, on December 31st.
The plane took off for Jodhpur, India, but had to turn back due to an issue with the cabin pressure.
The plane landed safely. All seventy-nine passengers and four crew members remained unharmed.

What: Air Canada Jazz de Havilland Dash 8-100 en route from from Toronto to London Canada
Where: Toronto
When: Sep 23rd 2009
Why: Immediately after takeoff, the left engine had to be shut down. The flight returned to Toronto and landed eleven minutes after takeoff.
