What: OLT Express Airbus A320-200 en route from Warsaw to Hurghada
Where: Sofia
When: May 17, 2012
Who: 147 passengers and 8 crew
Why: While en route, cabin lost pressure. The crew descended to save levels and diverted to Sophia.
On descent, pilots reported a fire in the cabin. A hot oxygen generation unit set carpeting on fire. Fire extinguishers on board were used.
Passengers disembarked without injury via slides.
OLT Express is a new Polish airline whose first official flight was publicly touted as April 1, 2012. OLT was formerly LOT and also YES Airways, and is currently running under the ownership of Amber Gold Group.
Looks like they need to work on their maintenance.

Plane Carrying Bulgarian PM Makes Emergency Landing at Sofia Airport
A plane, carrying the Bulgarian Prime Minister, had to make an emergency landing at Sofia Airport, Bulgaria, on the evening of February 11.
The governmental Falcon took off for transporting Prime Minister Boyko Borissov to Brussels, Belgium. However, its landing gear could not close due to a technical problem.
The plane made an uneventful emergency landing. Everyone aboard remained unharmed.
According to Bulgarian Transport Minister Ivaylo Moskovski, a team of Swiss experts would thoroughly inspect the plane.
Sunwing Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing due to Smell of Smoke
Sunwing Airlines flight BY-5483 made an emergency landing in Sofia, Bulgaria, on June 21st.
The Boeing 737-800 plane heading from Paphos, Cyprus, to Norwich, England, was diverted after smell of smoke was noticed on board.
The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

The Boeing 737-400, flying on behalf of Corendon Air, was en-route from Antalya, Turkey, to Zurich, Switzerland, had to divert due to a loss in cabin pressure.
The oxygen masks were released for the passengers, and they complained pressure and pain in ears.
The plane landed safely.
