    Because Airbus has circulated the statement that the crash was due to “technical problems” (when no official statement should be made prior to an investigation), 49% Saudi-owned Yemenia Airlines is rumored likely to pull it’s order for 10 Airbus A350s. The order has been standing since a 2007 airshow, and involves millions. The Yemenia Airlines crash that occurred during a stormy weather landing on the Comoros Islands involved an Airbus.

    Boarding Bridge Collapses in Hong Kong

    A Cathay Pacific Airbus A330-300 in Hong Kong China with 262 aboard was scheduled to fly from Hong Kong to Nagoya.

    After all the passengers had boarded, the rear boarding bridge collapsed, ripping the door off the A330. Passengers were able to exit via the first class bridge.

    Passengers had to take another flight.

    All rear bridges used at the airport are suspended pending inspection. The incident is under investigation.

    One technician was injured.

    Delta Airlines Flight Diverts to Heathrow Airport

    250px-Delta_logo.svgDelta Airlines flight DL-107 made an emergency landing at Heathrow Airport, United Kingdom, on December 2nd.

    The Boeing 767-300 plane was heading from Charles de Gaulle Airport, France, to Salt Lake City, Utah, when the crew reported smoke in the cockpit and decided to divert.

    The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unhurt.

    AA Plane Returns to Saint Louis after Bird Strike

    american airlinesAmerican Airlines flight AA-2444 had to return and make an emergency landing in Saint Louis, Missouri, on November 19th.

    The Boeing 737-800 plane took off for Los Angeles, California, but had to return shortly afterwards after the crew reported a bird strike.

    The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

    The NTSB is investigating.

    Tokyo-Bound Japan Airlines Flight Hits Turbulence; 1 Injured

    Japan AirlinesJapan Airlines flight JL-646 ran into severe turbulence while heading to Tokyo, Japan, on November 10th.

    The Boeing 767-300 plane was flying from Kagoshima, Japan, when it encountered turbulence that injured a flight attendant.

    The plane continued for safe landing.

    Japan’s TSB confirmed that the flight attendant sustained a serious injury due to turbulence.

    11 Killed after Colombian Air Force Transport Plane Crashed

    A Colombian Air Force transport plane crashed near Codazzi, Colombia on July 31, 2015.

    The accident happened when the Airbus CASA-235 plane was en-route from Palanquero Air Base to Barranquilla via Valledupar. Air Force Authorities said the pilot reported engine failure shortly before the crash.

    All 11 people aboard the plane were killed.

    It is believed that the weather conditions were poor at the time of crash.
