Air Canada flight 408 had to make an unscheduled landing at CFB Trenton in Ontario, Canada, on February 15.
The A-320, carrying 119 passengers and 5 crew members, was heading from Toronto to Montreal when the crew reported an overheated oven in the Galley.
The plane was then diverted to CFB Trenton where it landed uneventfully. Everyone aboard remained unharmed.
The airline arranged an alternate aircraft for the passengers.

Why: On takeoff, the flight developed smoke in the cockpit and cabin. The pilot landed safely back at the airport within fifteen minutes.
Delta Airlines flight 6093, bound for Dayton, Ohio, had to make an emergency landing at New York’s JFK Airport on July 28.
The Embraer ERJ-145 took off from LaGuardia Airport, New York, at 9:14 p.m., immediately after which, the pilot was notified about a possible tire issue. He then declared an emergency and diverted the plane to JFK considering its longer runways.
The plane made an uneventful landing at 11:34 p.m. All passengers and crew members were safely evacuated.
The incident is being investigated.
United Airlines flight UA-4269 made an emergency landing at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, Ohio, on January 28th.
The plane heading from Dayton, Ohio, to Newark, New Jersey, was diverted due to a mechanical issue.
The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.
Air China flight CA1336 had to make an emergency landing at Chongqing Airport in China, on February 25.
The flight, heading from Nanning to Beijing, had to land in emergency, after a female passenger claimed there was a bomb in the cabin.
The plane landed uneventfully and everyone aboard remained unharmed. A SWAT team thoroughly searched the plane but no explosive device was found.
The woman was taken for questioning.
Pakistan International Airlines flight PK-719 made a safe landing following a bird strike in Milan, Italy, on January 28th.
The Boeing 777-300 plane flying from Lahore, Pakistan, was on approach to Milan–Malpensa Airport when a bird hit it.
The plane continued for a safe landing. There were 125 passengers aboard at the time; all of them remained safe.
