Small Plane Crash-Lands in Plano Golf Course
A small plane made a crash landing in a pond on the golf course at Prestonwood Country Club in Plano, Texas, on the evening of October 27.The plane was heading to Addison Airport when the pilot reported some engine troubles. According to spokesperson of Plano PD, Detective Jerry Minton, “He decided he was going to find a place to land and saw the fairway, but upon final approach he said he had high tailwind and overshot the fairway…It ended up in the water, flipped upside down and started sinking.”
The authorities confirmed that the pilot, who was the only one aboard, remained uninjured.
The incident remains under investigation.

Helicopter Crash in Hickory County
A helicopter failed to return from a flight on May 24 2013 in Missouri. The flight took off at 5:45 p.m.
The Lucas Oil Products-owned helicopter was located crashed, and two people died in the crash.
The NTSB will arrive on site Sunday to begin the investigation. The pilot was flying passenger 21-yearold Missouri State University student Catalina Richard around the perimeter of a Lucas Oil Speedway event. The pilot’s name has hot been released as of this posting.
The helicopter crashed in rural Cross Timbers Missouri.
Ukrainian Warplane Shot Down Near the MH17 Crash Site
A Ukrainian fighter jet crashed after it was shot down near the crash site of MH17, in Eastern Ukraine, on August 7.The incident happened when the Sukhoi warplane was flying low over the rebel-held area, near Donetsk, some 40 km west of the site where the Malaysian Airline flight MH17 crashed on July 17.
The aircraft exploded midair before it crashed into the ground; however, the witnesses reported that the pilot managed to parachute out.
Spokesperson of Ukrainian military Vladislav Seleznyov, confirmed that rebels had shot down a fighter jet and said that “the pilot managed to steer the craft away from a residential area.” He also said that a search and rescue operation is being carried out for the pilot.

Why: After setting a pylon for a christmas tree, the chopper’s roter struck a cable, and crashed the chopper.Pilot Greg Gribble was hospitalized and released.
Te Wero Bridge has been closed to pedestrians until the investigation is complete.

Who: Pilot Timothy O’Brien, 51, pilot’s girlfriend Jackie, 40; Senior Constable Erin Condon, 40, and her nine-year-old son Matthew

When: early Tuesday afternoon before 1 p.m
Who: Pilot was killed, passenger injured.
Why: When the crash occurred, the plane was under visual flight rules, i.e. not in contact with the control tower.
