A small plane crashed in Owyhee County, Idaho, on September 30th.
The wreckage was found in the Owyhee Mountains between Reynolds Creek and Silver City.
Three people and a dog were killed in the crash.
The cause of crash is being investigated.

Plane Returned to Philadelphia International Airport Due to Landing Gear Issues
A Lufthansa flight returned and made an emergency landing at Philadelphia International Airport due to issues with its landing gear.The plane took off for Frankfurt, Germany, at around 5:45 p.m. on June 15. However, shortly after take-off, it was noticed that the landing gear of the plane was stuck.
The plane turned back toward Philadelphia, where it made an uneventful emergency landing after venting off extra fuel.
Authorities confirmed that the plane safely touched the runway at around 7:45 p.m. and all crew members and 270 passengers aboard remained safe.
Plane Rolls into San Carlos Pond, No injuries
On January 7, 2012, at 10:15 a.m. a Weber Logistics-owned Cessna Columbia LC41-550FG landed and rolled off the San Carlos Airport runway into a pond.There were two people aboard the single engine plane and neither was injured.

LAX Terminal 1 improvements to the tune of $400 Million
Although Southwest has outstanding legal claims against Los Angeles World Airports, the following items are are on the table:Southwest Airlines will
- build a new checked baggage security system
- improve passenger security checkpoints
- refresh passenger waiting areas
- refurbish the baggage claim area
- construct new passenger boarding bridges
- renovate the terminal lobby
Los Angeles World Airports will fund most of the renovations, along with—hopefully—federal grant money. Los Angeles World Airports may give the airline rent credits or by pay a lump sum.
If the lease is signed Southwest will drop legal claims against Los Angeles World Airports; if renovation proceeds, Southwest will pay about $9.5 million in rent the first year, and US Airways will move to Terminal 3.
The Board of Airport Commissioners has approved improvements in “dog-eared” Terminal one.
Airbus Emphasizes More Manual Flying and Monitoring Skills in Pilots
In an international safety conference held in the USA on June 18, Airbus expressed their plan to overcoming the issue of pilots relying too much on automated flight control systems.The European plane manufacturing company is reviewing its pilot training priorities and putting more emphasis on manual flying and enhanced flight monitoring. According to William Tauzin, director of international regulatory affairs for Airbus, the new wide body jet series A350 will be the first with an approved training procedure which re-emphasizes manual flying and improved monitoring of the situations and progress of flight. “There are times when you have to take over manually…because even the most sophisticated automated systems can get planes into situations and places from which the pilots are going to have to fly out,” he said.
The largest customer of the A350 is Qatar Airways which has 80 aircrafts on order. The airline is set to put the new design into service by the end of 2014.
