Scandinavian Airlines flight SK-1049 made an emergency landing in Lulea, Sweden, on September 28th.
The Boeing 737-600 plane heading from Kiruna to Stockholm, Sweden, was diverted after the crew needed to shut down one of the engines.
The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

Why: On takeoff, the plane had tire damage. Pilots decided to land for repairs, but they turned out to be too extensive for the flight to continue.
S7 Airlines flight S7-1148 made an emergency landing in Moscow, Russia, on February 6th.
The Airbus A320-200 plane flying from Krasnodar, Russia, was on final approach to Moscow when the crew reported a brakes problem and went around.
The plane landed safely. Everyone aboard remained unharmed.
Thomas Cook Airlines flight MT-992 made an emergency landing in Munich, Germany, on October 15th.
The Airbus A321-200 plane heading from Birmingham, England, to Hurghada, Egypt, was diverted after the crew reported an issue with a fuel pump.
The plane landed uneventfully. Everyone aboard remained safe.

Why: While descending to land, the plane’s automatic pressurization system failed . Oxygen masks were released for passengers. The emergency pressurization system was activated manually. Passengers did feel the pressure. One woman was treated for bleeding from the ears.

A private jet carrying Miranda Lambert, the famous country music star and her team made an emergency landing in Clarksburg, West Virginia.
The incident happened on June 3, when the plane was en route from New York to Nashville, Tennessee.
Wes Vause, Lambert’s publicist said that the plane lost pressure and they had to wait for about three hours before resuming the journey.

Why: After a successful takeoff, the plane depressurized. Pilots diverted to Villahermosa where they made a safe landing.
Mexican news reported that the plane was struck by lightning, and that when the pilots made a safe diversion and landing to Villahermosa, the plane was repaired.
Passengers were reluctant to re-board but the flight continued at 19:15 hours on the same plane, after repairs. At the time of takeoff, there were still storms in the mountainous region of Chiapas.
