    Envoy Air Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Miami

    Envoy Air flight MQ-3373 had to return for an emergency landing in Miami, Florida, on January 13th.

    The plane took off for Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport, Kentucky, but had to turn back after the crew reported a landing gear problem.

    The plane landed uneventfully. All passengers and crew members remained safe.

    Agricultural Accident-two cropdusters collide


    What: Miles Flying Service AT80 AIR TRACTOR AT-802A
    Where: Paragould Arkansas
    When: May 23, 2012, 11:35 a.m
    Who: 1 severe injury, 1 fatality
    Why: Two agricultural planes, a Beech Grove Grumman G164C and a Miles Flying Service AIR TRACTOR AT-802A collided in midair during an aerial application (crop-dusting) activity. The planes flew from Craighead and Greene county airstrips. One plane was flying S-N, the other was flying E-W. The planes turned into one another at the field’s corner and they impacted ground separated by 300 yards near County Road 322 and Highway 168 in Greene County.

    One person on the Gurmman was fatally injured; one person on the Air tractor had serious injuries. The accident occurred sixteen miles from Paragould arkansas. A medical helicopter evacuated the injured pilot.

    Piper Crash Kills Two Pilots


    What: red-and-white single-engine Piper En route from T.F. Green Airport in Warwick to do a practice approach
    Where: In the woods between Clark Road and Limerock Road about a half-mile from the North Central State Airport in Smithfield
    When: Nov 17, 2008
    Who: Ronald Tetreault, 64, of Glocester, and Robert Zoglio Jr., 43, of Richmond
    Why: The plane lost power for an unknown reason.

    Japan Airlines Flight Returns to Boston


    A Japan Airlines 787 was en route from Boston to Tokyo when a maintenance indicator flashed early in the flight.

    Pilots returned to Boston where they made a safe landing at 6:15 p.m. The problem is being reported as a maintenance issue.

    Flightradar24 website shows that Japan Airlines flight 7 was over Hudson Bay in Canada when it turned around.

    American Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing in San Jose

    American Airlines flight AA-1019 made an emergency landing in San Jose, California, on June 8th.

    The Boeing 737-800 plane took off for Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, Texas, but had to turn back after the crew failed to fully retract the landing gear.

    The plane landed back safely. Everyone aboard remained unharmed.
